Iconic New Jersey Track Opens for 46th Consecutive Motocross Racing Season.

Englishtown, NJ, March 24, 2021– Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey, will open its motocross racing season on Sunday, March 28. The 2021 season marks the 46th year that the facility has hosted motocross racing events making it one of the longest consecutively running race tracks in the country. Even with the COVID19 pandemic in 2020, Raceway Park was able to host a shortened five-race series.

For 2021, Raceway Park has a full schedule of eleven semi-pro events on the calendar, including a Loretta Lynn’s Area Qualifier, a pro-am event, an ACR vintage racing return, the NJ State Championships, and the granddaddy of them all, the 45th annual Kawasaki Race of Champions

The popular Saturday Night Lights Series for Youth MX and ATV returns to Raceway Park after a one-year pandemic forced cancellation. Specifically designed for the new youth racer, this five-race series is held on Saturday afternoons on a shortened track specifically built to suit the new racers as they hone their skills.

“It’s hard to believe this is the 46th season at Raceway Park. What started as a track in a field all those years ago has grown into the amazing facility we have today,” said Raceway Park Track Manager Rich Trevelise. “The racers that have grown up at Raceway Park have gone on to professional careers in motocross. We are so proud of their success and look forward to watching the next generation of pros that develop from Raceway Park.”

With classes for racers as young as four, all the way to the veterans of our sport in the 60+ class, Raceway Park has something for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you are a new or returning rider or a lifelong veteran Raceway Park has a class or two for you to enter.
