Longtime raceway park announcer Rich Trevelise has officially taken over the reigns as the Raceway Park motocross track manager. Prior to announcing, Rich was a racer in the late 70’s into the early 80’s. With many years of experience on and off the track, Rich is looking to keep the deep roots of premier motocross racing alive and well at Raceway Park in Old Bridge Township, NJ. Raceway Park has featured the Kawasaki Race of Champions for 36 years along with the NJ State Championship Race Loretta Lynn area qualifiers and many other series events. Throughout this time Raceway Park has had the top riders in the sport roll through the gates including Billy Liles, Jeff Ward, Bob Hannah, Roger DeCoster, Mickey Kessler, Ron Lechien, Johnny O’Mara, Mike LaRocco, John Dowd, Jeff Emig, Ryan Hughes, Doug Henry, Jeff Emig, Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart and Ryan Villopoto just to name a few. Raceway Park is a world-renowned Motorsports facility that features championship drag racing, motocross race track plus 3 separate practice tracks, Kart Racing and A Drifting Track. Raceway Park also features a number of special events throughout the year including the very popular Tough Mudder events.

I’ve spoken with Rich myself since the appointment and I can tell you he is very excited about the opportunity and suggested there will be many big things ahead for the facility in the coming seasons.
