Rest in Peace – Pete Jastrzembski

Peter John Jastrzembski, known to many as “Sweetie Petey,” passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 51.

Peter graduated from Cedar Ridge high school in 1988. After graduating high school, Peter worked with his father at Tri-State Metal Corp, eventually taking over the business.

Peter was an excellent athlete and raced motocross professionally #177. Peter never slowed down, regardless of the tragic accident that happened twenty years ago at Raceway Park Englishtown, NJ, which compromised his health.

He enjoyed fishing, boating, quadding, Jet Ski’s, snowmobiles & Harley-Davidsons. Not only was he in the metal business, but he was tough as steel and will be greatly missed by many.

Peter is predeceased by his father, Leonard Jastrzembski, who died in 2020.   He is survived by his mother, Olivia P. Jastrzembski, his precious daughter Heather Ann Jastrzembski and her boyfriend Chris Haggerty, her mother Kim Constantineau, his brother Len and his wife Diane, his brother Ken and his wife Dawn, his nephews Lenny, Kenny, Matthew Jastrzembski, and a great-niece Sophia Jastrzembski. He is also survived by his uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 7:00 pm Funeral Service at the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home located at 275 West Milton Ave in Rahway, NJ 07065.
