This article features our pick for the featured racer in each class from each race. It does not always feature the winners but our pick as the standout rider.
There are 5 groups we focus on.
Expert, Amateur, Novice, Veteran and Mini.
With all that in mind here is the top of the class for Raceway Park Opening Day 3/10/13.
The expert class was a tie between Richie Trevelise and Jacob Hartranft. Both racers made their A class debuts with victories. This should make for a great season as the veteran A class riders return to battle these young rookies.
Top of the class in the Amateur class goes to Chris Knight with a pair of second overall finishes in both the 250 and Open B classes.
The top Novice racer for the weekend was Christian Crum. Crum finished third overall in the 250 C and second overall in the Open C class.
Greg Pamart is our choice for the top Veteran class racer. Frenchie won the 30+ and 40+ A classes.
Devin Kusmider picked up out front just where he left off last season. Kusmider won the Junior Mini and 85cc 12-15 classes.
