UPDATED – July 12, 2025
The motocross community across the Garden State is buzzing with excitement as a strong roster of New Jersey and local-area racers have qualified for the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship, presented by AMSOIL at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Long considered the most prestigious amateur motocross event in the world, Loretta’s has launched the careers of countless pros—from Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart to today’s stars like Jett Lawrence and Haiden Deegan.
Held annually since 1982, the week-long event brings together the country’s best amateur racers for a shot at national glory. Riders must qualify through a rigorous system of area and regional qualifiers to earn their spot on the starting line. Simply making it to Loretta’s is a major achievement—and we’re proud to see so many from our region doing just that.
