Rest In Peace – Mr Kessler

William J. Kessler, 95 of Wall, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick with his loving family by his side.

Bill was a lifelong resident of Wall Township and a graduate of Manasquan High School. He served during World War II from 1945- 1947 in the US Army. His father and uncles started Kessler Farms in 1917. Bill farmed 180 acres along with his father, uncles, and three cousins for 69 years until 1986. Then he went to work with his son Jim as a mason until he retired for good. In his younger years, he enjoyed water skiing, snow skiing, hunting, and then later in life he took up fishing.

He was married for 70 years to the love of his life Doris. They made the most out of a modest life; went on vacations with friends and followed racing through their son’s and grandson’s events. They just enjoyed life together. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife Doris in 2019. He is survived by his loving sons and their spouses Jimmy and Chris Kessler, Mickey and Debi Kessler. Bill was the cherished grandfather of Jennifer and her husband Andy, Jamie and her husband Kurt, Dakota and his wife Emily, and a great-granddaughter Layla.
