Raceway Park Opening Day Race Report

40 years of motocross racing in the Garden State. Sunday, March 15th was the opening day for the 40th anniversary season of motocross racing at the famous facility.

Despite 8+ inches of snow on the track the week before and rains all day on Saturday leading up to the race, the show must go on. A couple of hundred hearty souls braved the cold windy conditions and difficult track to compete. Below is a brief wrap-up of the day.

Top riders-

Cory Carsten was a double class winner taking victories in both the 250 Amateur and Schoolboy 12-16 class while his dad Barry won the 30+ “A” and 40+ “A” classes.
