Raceway Park 3/16/14 Race Report
Another opening day at Raceway Park. The winter of 2013/2014 seems to never end. Snow on Monday before the event led to cold temperatures on Sunday morning, but at least it wasn’t snowing. Nearly 400 racers make the trip to Old Bridge Township, near Englishtown NJ for opening day.
The action was close in all of the classes and here are some highlights.
Samantha Fritz was the top Women’s class racer on opening day.

Barry Carsten was back for another Raceway Park opening day. He won the overall in all 3 classes he entered including the 30+ Expert, 40+ Expert and 45+ classes.

Kyle Bushee was on fire on his Kawasaki taking the victory in both the 250 Amateur and Schoolboy classes.

Nate Gorman was another double class winner on opening day. Nate grabbed the wins in both the 125 2-Stroke and 250 Novice classes.

Brian Borghesani had his Suzuki flying all day long taking the victory in both the Junior Mini and 85cc 12-15 class.
