THE WILDWOODS, NJ- The thrill and excitement of Motocross comes to the Wildwoods with the
“Thunder in the Sand” beach race! This weekend’s event consists of AMA-sanctioned Pro-Am
motocross races which range from the beginner level to the area’s top professional racers. All of
the weekend’s races take place on the pristine Wildwood beach between Schellenger and
Spencer Avenues. This is the only time you can camp on the beach and have the back drop of
the ocean while watching and/or racing for 3 days of pure motocross action!
The June 3-5, 2011 race is part of the “Thunder in the Sand Atcomx Motocross Series”, which
goes back and forth between Atco and Wildwood.
It’s not just all about the motocross racing; Thunder Motorsports will also be holding sand drag
races on Friday night.
Schedule of Events
Thursday – Gates open at 3 pm.
Friday – Regular Practice 11am-6pm (Price – $20) Drag Racing hour after practice has ended

Saturday – 8:30-9:30 hot lap – Racing Starts at 10am
Sunday – no practice – – Racing Starts at 9am.
